Darrell Hammond’s upcoming memoir, God, If You’re Not Up There, I’m F*cked, has been described as Tina Fey’s Bossypants meets David Carr’s The Night of the Gun.  It is a raw look inside the troubled life and mind of an American comic genius. With poignant and hilarious turns, Hammond takes readers from the set of Saturday Night Live, where he was the show’slongest-tenured cast member, to the drug-ridden streets of Harlem and into the twisting corridors of his own unflaggingly humorous consciousness. Mingling behind-the-scenes stories from television’s best-loved comedy series with a dark look inside a world-class funnyman, his story is sure to resonate with anyone who shares a talent for performance, a love of comedy, or a desire to know how an artist can climb from the deepest despair to the very top of his profession.

Fred Willard, a four-time Emmy nominee is a master of sketch comedy and is heralded for his quick wit and improvisational expertise. He has hundreds of appearances on stage, on the big screen, and on a wide range of television shows. He is an alumnus of the famed Second City comedy troupe.

Movie audiences know him best for his work in over seventy films – from Silver Streak with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor to his most recent film, Youth in Revolt. His improvisational performances in Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show earned him an American Comedy Award nod for Funniest Supporting Actor. His filmography also includes This Is Spinal Tap, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration, WALL-E, Fun with Dick and Jane, First Family, Salem’s Lot, The Wedding Planner and Roxanne among others. He was honored by AFI for contributing to America’s cultural legacy.

A favorite on TV talk shows, games shows, and series, Fred has appeared in over one thousand television episodes, from the variety Tom Jones Show to his recent appearances on Modern Family. He co-starred in Norman Lear’s innovative TV cult classic Fernwood 2 Night. He was a regular on Sirota’s Court, D.C. Follies, Maybe It’s Me, A Minute with Stan Hooper, and Back to You., Everybody Loves Raymond and What’s Hot, What’s Not. He has made over one hundred appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Fred’s stage work includes off-Broadway productions of Jules Feiffer’s Little Murders, Dan Greenburg’s Arf and the Great Airplane Snatch, and Mary Willard’s Elvis and Juliet. He has also performed in Mame at the Hollywood Bowl, and in the Los Angeles Reprise Theatre productions of Promises, PromisesAnything Goes, and L’il Abner, Mary Willard and Marty Stuart’s Moon Shine and Fred Willard, Alone At Last!
