s Anne Rice was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the author of 30 books, most recently the novel Angel Time, a memoir, Called Out of Darkness, and the novels Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt and Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana, depicting the life of Jesus Christ, based on the Gospels and the most respected New Testament scholarship. Her first novel, Interview with the Vampire, was published in 1976 and has gone on to become one of the best-selling novels of all time. She continued her saga of the Vampire Lestat in a series of books, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles, which have had both great mainstream and cult followings and are widely assigned in high school and collegiate English and philosophy classes. Her new book, Of Love and Evil, is a metaphysical thriller of angels and assassins that summons up dark and dangerous worlds set in times past.   Visit her website. Christopher Rice is the author of five New York Times best-selling novels, the most recent of which is the critically acclaimed psychological thriller, Moonlit Earth. His first novel, A Density of Souls, which New York Times magazine described as “Less Than Zero meets Donna Tartt spiced with Stephen King”, was published when he was 22 years old. A native of California but a Southerner by blood, Christopher returned to the west coast seven years ago. He currently lives in West Hollywood. He is the son of best-selling novelist Anne Rice and the late poet and painter, Stan Rice.
