“[A] gorgeous anthology of fashion images … Leibovitz is nothing less than America’s greatest living photographic portraitist … she has changed fashion photography forever.”  – Anna Wintour
.
Legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz’s surprising account of her encounters with fashion over five decades
.
Annie Leibovitz is one of the most influential photographers of our time. In 1970, she began creating what became her legendary work for Rolling Stone. Since the early 1980s, she has expanded her repertoire at Vanity Fair and Vogue and in independent projects. She is the recipient of many honors, including the International Center of Photography’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the Centenary Medal of the Royal Photographic Society..
.

“A compendium of her greatest hits … Her pictures are big, colorful, beautifully composed, egregiously luxuriant, loaded with detail, and nearly always contain some kind of implied narrative.” – The New York Times Book Review

.
Fashion has been both the subject of, and the vehicle for, many of Leibovitz’s images, which have graced the covers and interiors of countless publications and magazines around the world. In conversation, Leibovitz will share stories from her ambitious fashion shoots—including looks by designers such Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, and Rei Kawakubo—alongside tales of her encounters with a wide and diverse range of icons: from fashion designers such as Stella McCartney and Karl Lagerfeld to Kate Moss, Serena Williams, politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi, and cultural figures—Queen Elizabeth II, Lady Gaga, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie—to name a few.
.
Starting in 1970, when Leibovitz began creating what became her ground-breaking work for Rolling Stone, to her work at Vogue and Vanity Fair in the 1980s, and through to present day, Leibovitz will reflect on her career, the individuals she has photographed, the editors she has worked with, and how her distinctive approach has developed and evolved over the last half century.
.
Don’t miss the opportunity to spend an evening with the legendary photographer as she grants you a passport to Wonderland, a world where fashion is revealed in unexpected subjects and places, and photography is celebrated in its highest form.

From New York Times bestselling author, Family Guy writer, and HBO star Gary Janetti comes Start Without Me, a collection of hilarious, laugh out loud, true life stories about the small moments that add up to a big life.
..

Gary Janetti is a four-time Emmy nominated writer and producer who is the showrunner and creator of HBOMax’s The Prince.  He got his start writing on several network series before joining Fox’s Family Guy where he was on the original writing staff and went on to pen many memorable episodes featuring Brian and Stewie.  He then wrote on NBC’s Will & Grace, where he rose to executive producer and showrunner.  Janetti also created, executive produced and wrote all episodes of the ITV/PBS British sitcom Vicious starring Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi.  His popular Instagram account of over 900k followers has been featured and praised in such publications as the New York Times, People and Vanity Fair.  Janetti’s first book, Do You Mind If I Cancel? was a New York Times bestseller.  Follow him on Instagram and Twitter @garyjanetti.
.
Leslie Grossman has appeared in the last four seasons of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series “American Horror Story”. She was also recently seen in recurring roles on Hulu’s “Love, Victor” and ABC’s “The Goldbergs” and the recently released film “Studio 666.” Grossman’s breakout television role was as spoiled rich girl Mary Cherry on “Popular” and she starred for four seasons on “What I Like About You.” Her additional television credits include “Goliath,” “Shrill,” “Black-ish,” “Fuller House,” “Love,” “The Good Place,” “The New Normal,” “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce,” “Speechless,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Modern Family,” “Nip/Tuck,” “Whitney,” “CSI,” “Scandal,” “Dexter” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”  Born and raised in Los Angeles, Californian Leslie is a mom who enjoys spending time with family and friends. She still knows her bat mitzvah torah portion by heart.

“Gary Janetti is a national treasure! Start Without Me had me screaming with laughter and seething with jealousy. But it also had me in tears. Because the sneaky secret about Gary is that as antisocial as he purports to be, no one writes with more connectedness or feeling. Sorry, Gary! Reading your book about how little you want to hang out with people is only going to make everyone want to hang out with you more.”―Casey Wilson, New York Times bestselling author of The Wreckage of My Presence
.
Gary Janetti is bothered. By a lot of things. And thank God he’s here to tell us.
.
In Start Without Me, Gary returns with his acid tongue firmly in cheek to the moments and times that defined him. He takes us by the hand as we follow him through the summers he spends in his twenties, pursuing both the perfect tan and the perfect man to no avail and much regret. At his Catholic high school, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with a nun who shares Gary’s love of soap operas, which becomes a salvation to them both. And don’t get him started on how a bad hotel room can ruin even the best vacation. This laugh-out-loud collection of true-life stories from the man “behind his generation’s greatest comedy” (The New York Times) is for anyone who has felt the joy in holding a decade-long grudge.
.
Whether you are a new convert to Janetti or one of the million who follow him on social media for a daily laugh, Start Without Me will have you howling at Gary’s frustrations and nodding along in agreement at the outrages of life’s small slights. It’s the literary equivalent of a night out with your funniest friend that you wish would never end.
