Newer Voices
Since the founding of Live Talks Los Angeles, most of the featured speakers we have hosted have been established authors and personalities. With our Newer Voices Series, we are committed to support debut authors — both fiction and nonfiction — as well as writers with perhaps one or two books whose work we feel compelled to draw more attention to. We will present these authors in conversation with more established authors and persons to help draw attention to their work. Our goal for 2016-17 is to feature a “newer voice” on a monthly basis.
Free tickets to these events will be available 14 days before the event, but we encourage our patrons to support these authors and purchase tickets at $30 which includes a copy of the book and a reserved seat, or $35 which is reserved seating for two and a copy of the book.
